About this trip
Thirteen days through Costa Rica, starting and finishing in San Jose, that mixes volcano country, cloud forest and coastline. You'll spend time on your feet exploring national parks and just as much time doing nothing much on a beach.
The route takes you from the Arenal Volcano area to Rincon de la Vieja, then down to the Pacific coast, taking in both a well-known beach town and a quieter one before finishing at Manuel Antonio, Costa Rica's most visited wildlife reserve.

- Take a guided night hike through the jungle
- Explore Rincon de la Vieja National Park
- Spend downtime on the beaches of Samara
- Visit the lesser-known beach town of Esterillos

- Open to travellers aged 18 to 49, a slightly wider range than most 18-35 group trips
- Pace mixes active days, with hiking and jungle walks, against slower stretches on the beach
