About this trip
Ten days moving through China's big historical set-pieces, from Beijing's imperial core to Xi'an's buried army and Chengdu's pandas. It's a proper sightseeing itinerary — dense, varied, and covers a lot of ground by high-speed train.
You start in Beijing with Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City, and a hike along the Great Wall, then head to Luoyang for the Longmen Caves before the fast train to Xi'an for the Terracotta Army. It ends in Chengdu, with hotpot and time with the pandas.
