About this trip
Ten days that take you from Bangkok's temples and canals up to the hills around Chiang Mai and Chiang Rai, then down to the limestone islands of Krabi. It's a broad sweep of the country rather than a deep dive into one region, so you get a real cross-section of Thailand's cities, countryside and coast.
Expect a mix of guided culture and history in the first half — palaces, markets, an elephant care day and the Golden Triangle — followed by beach time and island boat trips once you reach Krabi. The pace eases off towards the end, with leisure time built in before you fly out of Bangkok.
