About this trip
Nine days up the Queensland coast from Brisbane to Cairns, mixing beach time with reef and rainforest. You get a proper spread of Australia's east coast highlights without rushing through any one of them.
Days at Airlie Beach and Mission Beach are for slowing down, with a sail around the Whitsunday Islands and a snorkel out on the Great Barrier Reef as the big-ticket moments. Inland, the trip shifts pace through the Atherton Tablelands and into the Daintree Rainforest and Mossman Gorge, on foot and by cable car.
It's an easy-going trip overall, geared towards seeing a lot of ground and coastline rather than pushing you physically.
