About this trip
A day riding around Hanoi in a vintage GAZ-69 jeep, weaving through backstreets and neighbourhoods most tours skip in favour of the big sights alone.
You do take in the landmarks — the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, Tran Quoc Pagoda, the Temple of Literature — but the jeep also gets you into quieter corners around West Lake and Truc Bach Lake, and past everyday scenes of local life.
Food is woven through the day too, with stops at local eateries to try Hanoi specialities alongside a guide who can explain what you're eating and why it matters here.
