About this trip
Five days across northern Vietnam's big three: Hanoi's old streets, the limestone rivers of Ninh Binh, and the islands of Halong Bay.
You start in Hanoi with time to wander, eat well, and take in the city's landmarks, before heading out to Trang An for a boat trip through the river valleys. The trip ends on the water at Halong Bay, among its thousands of limestone islands.
It's a guided, fairly gentle introduction to the north — good if you want the well-known sights covered without planning the logistics yourself.
