About this trip
Nine days across the Andean highlands, moving from La Paz through the Uyuni Salt Flats and over the border into Chile's Atacama Desert. It's a route built on landscape and contrast — colonial streets and markets, then salt, then silence.
You'll cross the salt flats on foot, watch flamingos work the high lagoons, and sleep in a salt hotel before the terrain shifts again into the volcanic desert around San Pedro de Atacama.
This is a partially guided trip pitched at an easy pace, suited to families or anyone wanting big scenery without a demanding schedule.
