Highlands to Rainforest –Trekking Tour

Eleven days walking through Sri Lanka's highlands and rainforest, taking in grasslands, tea country and one of the island's last great forests. It moves from the rolling hills of Riverston into the Knuckles Mountain Range, over to Ella by train, and finishes in the Sinharaja rainforest.

Days are built around trekking, with a mix of open highland walks and denser forest trails, plus stops in mountain villages and a visit to Kandy along the way. Nights are split between local villages and eco-lodges set in the landscape you're walking through.

It suits people who want their nature time active rather than passive — walking boots on most days, with cultural stops and quieter moments woven in between.
