About this trip
Five days in Madhya Pradesh built around two of India's best-known tiger reserves, Kanha and Bandhavgarh. This is a slower-paced wildlife trip, more about time spent watching and waiting than ticking off sights.
You'll head out on safari drives through both parks, with a real chance of spotting tigers alongside deer, langurs and a long list of birdlife. Between drives there's space to just take in the forest and grassland scenery.
It suits anyone who wants a proper break from routine and doesn't mind the patience that wildlife spotting requires — sightings are never guaranteed, but the parks themselves are worth the trip regardless.
What you'll do
- Safari drives through Kanha National Park
- Safari drives through Bandhavgarh National Park
- Chance to spot tigers in the wild
- Spot deer, langurs and varied birdlife across both reserves
- Time in Madhya Pradesh's forest and grassland landscapes
- Relaxed pace, suited to families and those wanting downtime as well as safaris
- Tiger sightings are never guaranteed — this is wild, unscripted wildlife viewing
- Partially guided, with structured safari activities built around free time
Worth it if you're a wildlife enthusiast willing to commit to early starts and long safari drives. Think twice if you need guaranteed tiger sightings or prefer minimal group coordination.
- Guides are genuinely knowledgeable—they explain animal behaviour, identify birds, and track tigers ethically and respectfully.
- All-inclusive covers transport, accommodation, meals, and safaris; resort locations give easy access to core park areas.
- Tiger sightings are not guaranteed despite high density claims; success depends on luck and early morning game drives.
- Multiple game drives daily mean long hours in jeeps; expect early starts and physical stamina required for full immersion.
