About this trip
Four days covering Mumbai's mix of old and new, then the cave temples of Aurangabad. Expect city streets and markets followed by a step into ancient rock-cut history.
In Mumbai you get a feel for the city's heritage buildings, markets and food scene. From there the trip heads to the Ajanta and Ellora Caves, two of India's most significant ancient sites carved into the Maharashtra hillsides.
