About this trip
Three days on the road from Marrakech to Fes, crossing some of Morocco's most striking landscapes along the way. The route takes you from the Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou through the Dades Valley and into the Erg Chebbi dunes, where you swap the van for a camel and bed down in a desert camp for the night.
It is a one-way journey rather than a loop, so expect a new view most days and a good stretch of driving between stops. The pace suits those who want the desert experience without roughing it too much, given the luxury camp setup.
