About this trip
Twenty days that take you from Vietnam's history to Thailand's temples and beaches, covering a lot of ground without rushing through it. You move from Hanoi down to Ho Chi Minh City, then across to Bangkok, Ayutthaya, Chiang Mai and finally Phuket for some downtime by the sea.
Along the way you'll cruise Halong Bay, sit with the quieter charm of Hue, get a proper look at local life in Hoi An, and step into the Cu Chi tunnels to understand Vietnam's wartime past. Thailand brings a different pace, with temple visits, an elephant sanctuary, and beach time to finish.
This is an easy-going, partially guided trip, so you'll have some structure and some room to explore on your own, making it a solid fit for families or anyone travelling with others at different energy levels.
