About this trip
Eight days across Colombia's three best-known cities: Bogotá, Medellín and Cartagena. You get a proper cross-section of the country, from Andean highlands to the Caribbean coast, with domestic flights covering the distances between them.
Expect time in historic neighbourhoods, local guides pointing out the detail you'd otherwise miss, and a mix of colonial architecture, street art and coastal old town. It's a guided group trip, so the logistics are handled and the focus stays on what you're seeing and tasting.
What you'll do
- Explore Bogotá's colonial old town and altitude
- Walk Medellín's hillside streets and see its street art scene
- Wander Cartagena's UNESCO-listed walled old city
- Guided visits with local guides throughout
- Domestic flights connecting all three cities
- Taste regional Colombian food along the way
- You change city (and altitude/climate) several times, so pack for both cool highlands and coastal heat
- Fully guided group format — good if you'd rather not plan logistics yourself
