About this trip
Seven days across central Mexico, moving between capital-city energy and colonial-town calm. You start in Mexico City, then work your way out to pyramids, canals, and silver-mining towns before circling back.
Expect a fair amount of ground covered — Teotihuacán's pyramids, the floating gardens of Xochimilco, and the Baroque streets of Puebla all feature alongside Cuernavaca and Taxco. It's history and architecture heavy, with room for the odd colourful, low-key afternoon on the water.
This is a partially guided trip, so some days have a guide leading the way and others give you space to explore on your own terms.
What you'll do
- Walk among the pyramids of Teotihuacán

- Explore Mexico City's historic centre
- Easy pace, suited to families and groups new to Mexico
- Partially guided — a mix of led activities and free time
- Availability shifts around Easter, Day of the Dead, Formula 1 weekends and the Christmas/New Year period, so this isn't a year-round constant schedule
