About this trip
Six days based mainly in Amsterdam, with day trips out to the cities, villages and countryside that make up the wider Netherlands. It's a self-adventure with some guided elements built in, so you get structure without being led around every minute of the day.
You'll take a guided day out to Rotterdam, Delft and The Hague, cruise Amsterdam's canals from Central Station, and head to Giethoorn for a boat ride through the car-free village. A further day trip covers the windmills, cheese and clog-making towns north of Amsterdam.
It suits people who want to see beyond the capital without organising the logistics themselves — a mix of city time, water, and traditional Dutch villages.
