About this trip
Two of Central Europe's grand old capitals, linked by train rather than crowded onto a single rushed circuit. You start in Vienna, with its imperial palaces, classical music heritage and coffee house culture, then take the train onward to Prague, where cobbled lanes and spires make up the Old Town.
It's a partially guided week, so there's structure around the key sights but also room to wander on your own terms. The pace is relaxed rather than packed, suited to travellers who want depth in two cities rather than a rush through many.
