About this trip
Four days based in a cave hotel in Cappadocia, getting to know the fairy chimneys, underground cities and rock-cut churches that early Christians carved into this landscape.
Guided visits cover the Goreme Open Air Museum, Devrent Valley and Pasabag, along with the historic Greek town of Cavusin, where you can see how locals still live among the old cave houses. There's time for panoramic views over Goreme and Pigeon Valley, a pottery demonstration, and a proper Turkish meal at a local restaurant.
A hot air balloon flight over the valleys is offered as an optional extra, for anyone keen to see the chimneys from above.
