About this trip
A short, flight-based sweep through some of western Turkey's biggest historical sites, run as a small group with a local guide throughout. You fly out of Istanbul and cover Ephesus, Pergamum and Pamukkale in three packed days.
The focus is classical history and early Christian sites, with time for swimming in Pamukkale's thermal pools and browsing local bazaars along the way. Meals are taken at family-owned restaurants rather than tourist canteens.
What you'll do
- Explore the ancient city of Ephesus, including the House of the Virgin Mary and the Temple of Artemis
- Swim in the thermal springs of Pamukkale
- Visit Pergamum and the Askelepion, one of the seven churches of Revelation

- Fast-paced — three major sites in three days, with internal flights between destinations
