About this trip
Six days across Turkey's headline sites, moving between Istanbul, Kusadasi and Pamukkale by plane rather than long coach transfers. You get the layered history of a city that was capital to three empires, then the classical remains of Ephesus and the white travertine terraces of Pamukkale.
Guided throughout, with historical monuments in Istanbul and the archaeological sites further south forming the backbone of the trip. Meals lean on family-owned local restaurants rather than tourist-set menus, giving a more genuine taste of Anatolian cooking.
This runs as a small group, staying in centrally located hotels chosen for character rather than scale.
