About this trip
Seven days across mainland Greece, moving from Athens through the Peloponnese and up to Thessaloniki, taking in the country's major historical sites without rushing between them.
You'll walk the ruins at Olympia and Delphi, see the cliff-top monasteries of Meteora, and spend time in Nafplio, a seaside town with a different, quieter pace than the big archaeological stops.
This is a private, partially guided trip, so you get guidance at the key sites but some flexibility in between. It suits travellers who want the history explained properly rather than just photographed.
