Azerbaijan sits between the Caspian Sea and the Caucasus mountains, and this 14-day private, self-guided trip takes you from Baku's old city out into the regions most visitors never see. It mixes capital-city architecture with mountain villages, rock art, and provincial history.

You'll travel from Baku toward the Five Finger Mountain for views over the Caspian, then up into the highlands to Khinalig, one of the country's oldest and most isolated villages, and the striped rock formations known as the Candy Cane Mountains. Gobustan's ancient carvings and Ganja's connection to the poet Nizami round out the historical thread running through the trip.
