Volcanic Nicaragua: An Extreme Adventure Among Peaks & Craters

Seven days based in León, working through the Maribios volcano range on foot. This is a hiking trip built around variety as much as volume — some days are long, steep slogs, others timed around sunset light or a crater lagoon.

You climb San Cristóbal, look into the raw crater at Telica, reach the remote setting of Cosigüina, and cross the ash trails of Cerro Negro and El Hoyo. León itself gives you a proper base between hikes, with real history and character rather than just a bed to collapse into.

Aimed at people who want a serious, physical trip rather than a gentle scenic one — the volcanoes are the point, and the days are structured around getting the best of each of them.
