About this trip
Sixteen days moving through Argentina, Uruguay and Brazil, with a group covering a lot of ground by ferry, transfer and overnight bus. It starts in Buenos Aires and works through Uruguay's quieter side before building to two big-name stops: Iguazu Falls and Rio de Janeiro.
Along the way there's gaucho country at San Antonio de Areco and island downtime on Ilha Grande, so the pace isn't all city hustle. It suits people happy to shift base often and share hostel rooms with the group as you cross three countries.
