About this trip
This self-guided journey through Guatemala takes you from the colonial streets of Antigua to the Maya villages around Lake Atitlan, then north to the temples of Tikal. Hotels, local guides and transport between stops are arranged, so you can move through the country at your own pace without organising the logistics yourself.
You get a mix of culture, nature and history: time with Maya communities on the lake, a volcano to climb, waterfalls to swim in, and one of the region's great archaeological sites to end on.
