About this trip
Two days in Beijing covering the big sights without the queuing, in a small group that keeps things personal rather than herding you between coaches.
Day one is the Great Wall at Mutianyu, followed by the Forbidden City and Tiananmen Square. Day two takes in the Summer Palace, the Temple of Heaven and the Lama Temple, ending with a rickshaw ride through the old hutongs.
It is a fast, well-organised way to see Beijing's essentials if your time is short, with entrance tickets sorted so you skip the lines at each stop.
