About this trip
A 14-day guided run through China's headline sights, done in a small group of no more than 18 and staying in high-end hotels throughout. This is the classic route covered properly, with a bit more comfort and polish than the budget version.
You get the big three — the Great Wall, the Terracotta Army, the Forbidden City — plus a Li River cruise through the Guilin countryside and a stop in Hong Kong to shift gears into city energy. Meals lean towards a la carte rather than set group dinners, and evenings include an acrobatic show and a Tang Dynasty music and dance performance.
