About this trip
This is a private, fully guided route across China with your own guide and driver throughout, taking in the country's essential sights alongside the old Silk Road heritage. It runs across 13 days with departures daily, so you set the start date rather than working around a fixed schedule.
You'll cover the classics — the Great Wall and Forbidden City in Beijing, the Terracotta Warriors in Xi'an — then head west along the Silk Road to the Mogao Caves and the Gobi Desert, before finishing in Shanghai where old and new sit side by side.
Because it's private, the itinerary can be adjusted to suit your interests and pace, and you won't be sharing the trip with other travellers.
