About this trip
Five days in the Gobi, covering some of Mongolia's most striking desert scenery without the trip stretching into weeks. Expect long drives across open steppe broken up by proper stops at the places that make this landscape famous.
You'll dig into paleontology at the Flaming Cliffs, walk the narrow canyon of Yol Valley, and climb the Khongor Sand Dunes, whose shifting sands are known to hum. There's also time built in to meet nomadic families and see how life is actually lived out here.
