About this trip
This 9-day trip takes you into rural Mongolia to spend time with nomadic families who still live as their ancestors did, moving with the seasons in search of good pasture.
You'll be based with local herders rather than just passing through, getting a real sense of a lifestyle built around goats, sheep, cattle, yaks, camels and horses, and the rhythm of migration that shapes the year.
It's a guided, small-group journey with a moderate pace, designed to work for families as well as anyone wanting a genuine, hands-on look at nomadic life rather than a distant view of it.
