Philippines East

Moalboal → Boracay 8 days Up to 20

About this trip

This 8-day trip takes you through the eastern side of the Philippines, mixing beach time with proper adventure activity. Expect a good balance of relaxing on the water and getting stuck into things like canyoneering and sailing.

You'll spend time in Boracay learning to sail a traditional paraw boat, then move on to Moalboal for one of the country's best-known marine spectacles, the sardine run, and Kawasan Falls for a full day of canyoneering. There's also space for exploring seaside towns along the way.

It's a guided small-group trip pitched at a moderate pace, suited to travellers who want their beach days broken up with some genuine activity.

What you'll do

  • Learn to paraw sail in Boracay
  • Canyoneer through Kawasan Falls
  • Snorkel or dive the sardine run in Moalboal
  • Spot turtles on the reefs
  • Wander seaside towns with notable old architecture
Good to know
  • Moderate pace with active days built in — canyoneering and sailing both require a reasonable level of fitness
  • Fully guided throughout, travelling as part of a small group
What travellers actually say

Worth it if you want island hopping with a genuinely exceptional guide. Think twice if you expect lengthy activities or value-for-money on every included component.

  • Orty is a standout guide: organised, caring, knowledgeable, and makes transfers entertaining.
  • Island hopping itinerary covers diverse, beautiful locations across the Philippines well.
  • Some included activities were very short and didn't justify their cost within the tour.
  • Group vibe is strong; guide goes above and beyond, but this relies heavily on personnel.
