About this trip
Seventeen days moving through the Philippines by boat, on foot and in the water, covering canyoneering, wreck diving and island camping across some of the country's best-known coastal spots.
You'll shift between adrenaline days and slow beach days, from canopy walks with wide views to sleeping out under the stars on a castaway-style night, then on to Boracay for a livelier finish.
It's a moderate-paced adventure trip built around water and islands, with traditional banca boats doing much of the inter-island travel.
What you'll do
- Canyoneer through the turquoise waterfalls of Kawasan Falls
- Snorkel shipwrecks in Coron's clear water
- Swim with turtles and see the sardine run in Moalboal
- Sleep under the stars on a castaway-style beach night
- Island-hop by traditional banca boat
- Try paddle boarding and parasailing on Boracay
- Moderate activity level with canyoneering, snorkelling and some hiking involved
- Overnight camping is part of the itinerary, not just hotel stays
- Ends on Boracay, a busier and more social island than the rest of the route
Worth it if you want hassle-free island logistics and a guide who genuinely cares. Think twice if you need a quiet, independent travel experience.
- Guide AJ consistently praised across all reviews for warmth, organisation, and going above and beyond logistics and personal support.
- Excellent value: many included activities and meals, plus adventure experiences like zip-lining and canyoneering built into itinerary.
- Seventeen days involves frequent connecting flights, boats, and drives between islands; tightly coordinated but potentially tiring travel schedule.
- Strong group bonding reported; best suited to first-time solo travellers or those seeking communal tour experience, not independent explorers.
