About this trip
Thirteen days moving through Vietnam from south to north (or north to south), taking in the mountains, coastline, cities and food that make this one of the more varied countries to travel through in the region.
You'll spend a night on a boat in Halong Bay, wander Hoi An's lantern-lit old town, get underground in the Phong Nha cave systems, and ride the Hai Van Pass in an open-top Jeep. Getting between places is part of the experience too, including at least one overnight sleeper bus.
This is a fully guided group trip with shared rooms throughout, aimed at travellers who want to see a lot of the country without organising any of it themselves.

- Guide John consistently learns group members' names, prioritises safety, and genuinely joins evening activities like karaoke and dancing.
- Itinerary balances cultural immersion, active experiences, and socialising across 13 days with thoughtful daily structure and variety.
- Tour is jam-packed with activities and locations; limited mention of downtime or relaxation built into the schedule.
- Weather occasionally disrupted plans, though guide adapted activities to keep days engaging and enjoyable regardless.
