About this trip
Fourteen days travelling through northern India by local train, taking in Delhi's monuments and the cities of Rajasthan at a pace that lets the history and colour sink in.
Expect old forts, busy markets, and a proper desert night under the stars on a camel safari, with sleep very much optional.
This is India as it's lived in, not sanitised for visitors, with the food, chaos, and warmth that come with it.
What you'll do
- See the monuments of Delhi
- Explore the colourful cities of Rajasthan
- Marvel at Jaisalmer's mud fortress
- Ride camels into the desert for an overnight safari
- Travel is by local trains between cities, so journeys are part of the experience, not just a means to an end
- The camel safari involves an overnight stay in the desert with basic sleeping conditions
