About this trip
This trip takes you from Bangkok through northern Thailand and on to Vietnam, covering temples, markets, an elephant sanctuary, and the coast at Hoi An over 12 days.
You start in Bangkok's busy streets and temples before heading out to the Damnoen Saduak Floating Market, then fly to Chiang Mai for an elephant sanctuary visit and a free day to explore on your own terms.
From there you cross into Vietnam, landing in Hanoi with its old quarter and history, taking in Halong Bay's limestone scenery, and finishing on the beaches and activities around Hoi An.
