About this trip
Nine days through four of Italy's best-known names — Rome, Florence, Venice and Lake Como — with room to explore each at your own speed rather than being marched from sight to sight.
Expect ancient ruins, grand cathedrals and Renaissance streets in the first three cities, then a change of pace at the end as you settle by Lake Como for a couple of nights.
It's partially guided, so you'll get some structure and local input alongside stretches of free time to wander on your own.
What you'll do
- Explore ancient ruins in Rome
- Wander Florence's Renaissance streets and cathedrals
- Take in Venice's canals and architecture
- Unwind for a couple of nights on Lake Como
- Partially guided — a mix of guided time and free time to explore independently
- Easy pace, suited to families and groups
- You'll change base across four locations over the nine days
