Taste of Namibia 7 Days DEPARTING MONDAYS & WEDNESDAYS **Sustainable Approach to Travel

Start & end in Windhoek 7 days Up to 100

About this trip

Seven days across Namibia's varied landscapes, from the towering red dunes of Sossusvlei to the rugged mountains of Damaraland and the Skeleton Coast. It's a small-group safari with a sustainable travel operator, staying in lodges throughout.

Wildlife is a big part of this one — Etosha National Park is known for its high concentration of animals, including lions, elephants, rhinos and giraffes, and the various waterholes make for good viewing. There's also time built in to meet Himba, Herero and San communities and learn something of their ways of life.

It's an easy-paced, fully guided trip, well suited to families or anyone wanting a first proper look at Namibia without organising the logistics themselves.

What travellers actually say

Worth it if you want genuinely excellent guides and stunning wildlife spotting. Think twice if you need constant hand-holding in planning.

  • Guides like Kalus and Stefanus are exceptional at wildlife spotting and adapting itineraries to group needs in real-time.
  • Etosha's elephants, Sossusvlei's dunes, and Swakopmund's biking deliver the landscapes and experiences brochures promise.
  • Admin support is responsive, but you'll need to drive the planning conversations yourself early on.
  • Good value for money given the quality of guide attention, wildlife encounters, and accommodation standards throughout.
