Who we are

18-35 Travel (18-35.travel) is operated by All Good Marketing, which is the data controller for the personal data described on this page. If you want to reach a human about anything here, email hello@allgoodmarketingco.com — that address is monitored and you will get a reply from a person.

What we collect, and why

Your email address, if you give it to us

If you complete the trip matchmaker, ask us to watch a price, or sign up for alerts, we store your email address along with a record of what you asked for and the consent you gave. We use it only to send you the thing you asked for. We do not sell it, rent it, or pass it to operators or advertisers, and every email we send carries a one-click unsubscribe.

Legal basis: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time by unsubscribing or emailing us.

Measurement, without cookies or profiles

We count page views and basic on-site events so we know which pages are useful. This is first-party and deliberately cookieless: we never store your IP address or your browser’s user-agent string. To count same-day unique visits we generate a salted hash that rotates every day, which means it cannot be used to identify you, to follow you between days, or to recognise you on any other website.

Legal basis: our legitimate interest in understanding whether the site works. Because nothing is stored on your device and nothing identifies you, this does not require consent.

Clicks on links to our partners

When you click through to a tour operator, a hotel or hostel site, or an eSIM provider, we log that a click happened — which page it came from, which partner it went to, and when. This is how we know which recommendations are useful, and it is how we get paid. That record is not tied to your name or email.

Once you land on a partner’s site you are subject to their privacy policy, not ours. Affiliate networks typically set their own cookie so the partner knows the visit came from us. We have no control over that and no access to what you do once you are there.

Legal basis: our legitimate interest in measuring and being paid for referrals we make.

Cookies and similar storage

Necessary items (things like remembering your consent choice and your currency) are always on. Anything optional — statistics and advertising measurement, including the Taboola pixel — stays switched off until you agree, and you can change your mind whenever you like. We publish a complete, itemised inventory rather than a vague summary: see cookies and your privacy choices.

Legal basis: consent for everything optional; legitimate interest for the strictly necessary items.

Questions you submit

If you send us a question through the site, we store the question so we can answer it and, sometimes, publish a useful answer for other travellers. We only ever publish the question itself — never your email address or anything identifying you.

Who we share it with

We do not sell personal data. We use a small number of processors to run the service, each handling only what they need:

• Supabase — our database, where email addresses, consent records and alerts are stored.
• Resend — sends the emails you have asked for.
• Vercel — hosts the site and serves the pages.
• Taboola — advertising measurement, and only if you consent to marketing cookies.
• Anthropic — powers some of the written summaries on the site. We do not send it your personal data.

Some of these providers process data outside the UK and EEA. Where that happens, transfers are covered by the standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards in our agreements with them.

How long we keep it

Email addresses and alert preferences are kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them, and are removed shortly afterwards. Consent records are kept for as long as we need to demonstrate that consent was given, which is a legal requirement. Click and measurement records are aggregate operational data and are not linked to you.

Your rights

Under UK and EU data protection law you can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, object to how we are using it, or withdraw consent you previously gave. Email hello@allgoodmarketingco.com and we will action it — there is no form and no fee.

In practice the fastest routes are the unsubscribe link in any email we send, and the consent controls on the cookies page.

If you think we have handled your data badly, we would rather you told us first so we can fix it. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk, or to your local supervisory authority if you are in the EEA.

Children

This site is aimed at adults — the trips we cover are for travellers aged roughly 18 to 35. It is not intended for children, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16. If you believe we have, email us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle personal data, we update this page and change the date at the top. We keep this page in step with the code rather than reviewing it annually, so the date reflects a real change rather than a diary reminder.
