Discover Jerusalem & Tel Aviv (5-Day Tour)

Tel Aviv → Jerusalem 5 days Up to 25

About this trip

Five days covering Israel's two very different centres of gravity — the beach-and-market energy of Tel Aviv and the layered history of Jerusalem, with the Judean Desert in between.

You start with two nights in Tel Aviv, based centrally at Abraham Tel Aviv, with a free day to spend on the beach, in the markets, or on an optional trip out to the Gaza border region or the West Bank. From there you head into the desert for Masada, Ein Gedi and the Dead Sea, before finishing with two nights in Jerusalem and a guided walk through the Old City's quarters.

It's a compact, well-covered five days rather than a slow wander — good if you want the headline sights of both cities and the desert without a long itinerary.

What you'll do

  • Free day in Tel Aviv for the beach or the markets
  • Optional trip to the Gaza border region or the West Bank
  • Explore the ancient fortress of Masada
  • Hike the Ein Gedi oasis and float in the Dead Sea
  • Guided tour of Jerusalem's Old City and its historic quarters
Good to know
  • Covers Tel Aviv, the Judean Desert and Jerusalem in five days, so the pace is brisk
  • Includes four nights' accommodation, daily breakfast and transport between cities and sites
  • Extra nights, additional tours or a private room upgrade can be added on
What travellers actually say

Worth it if you're keen on Masada and the Dead Sea and can stomach early starts. Think twice if you dislike long sun exposure or need flexibility around itinerary order.

  • Masada and Dead Sea are genuine highlights; guides are knowledgeable and drivers genuinely helpful.
  • Early starts are brutal; one traveller got only 6-7 hours sleep before another full day.
  • Expect extended standing in hot sun while guides sell additional tickets during tours.
  • Tours run out of advertised order and itinerary can shift; booking as package saves money versus individual bookings.
