About this trip
This trip covers India's classic Golden Triangle — Delhi, Agra and Jaipur — then heads north into the hills for a couple of days in Shimla, the old British summer capital, including a ride on the toy train.
It is a straightforward introduction to northern India: Mughal monuments, fort cities and bazaars in the plains, followed by cooler air and colonial-era architecture up in the hills.
Suited to families and groups wanting a first proper look at India without over-complicating the route.
