About this trip
Ten days across northern India, moving from the Golden Triangle cities into older, quieter ground. You start with Delhi, Agra and Jaipur, the classic circuit, before heading on to Varanasi, Khajuraho and Orchha.
Varanasi is one of the oldest continuously inhabited cities anywhere, its life built around the river. Khajuraho's temples are UNESCO-listed for their carved detail, and Orchha adds palaces, temples and a slower riverside pace before the trip wraps up.
This is a fully guided group tour, so the logistics of a lot of ground and a lot of history are handled for you.
