Azerbaijan & Uzbekistan 14 days Private Silk Road Tour

Baku → Tashkent 14 days Up to 30

About this trip

Fourteen days across Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan, two countries that sat on different branches of the Silk Road and show it in very different ways. You start in Baku before heading inland to Shamakhi and the mountain town of Sheki, then fly on to Uzbekistan for the classic run of Silk Road cities.

This is a private tour, so it's just you (or your group) and a partial guide setup rather than a fixed coach party. The pace is easy, with room to actually look at things rather than rush past them.

Expect a mix of old-town wandering, historic architecture, and bazaars rather than long days of driving — the emphasis is on culture and history, with some natural scenery around Sheki thrown in.

What you'll do

  • Explore Baku's old city and modern skyline
  • Visit the historic sites of Shamakhi
  • Wander the mountain town of Sheki

Good to know
  • Private tour, so the itinerary can flex around you
  • Partially guided rather than led throughout
  • Easy pace, suited to families or those who prefer not to rush
