About this trip
This eleven-day private journey runs from Ljubljana down to Dubrovnik, taking in Slovenia, Istria and the Croatian coast at an easy pace. It suits families or small groups who want their own private setup rather than a fixed group tour.
You start in Ljubljana before heading to Lake Bled and the Postojna Cave system, then into the Karst region for wine and on to Istria for truffles. From there it's Plitvice Lakes, Trogir, Split and Hvar before finishing in Dubrovnik.
It's a comfortable mix of cities, nature and food and drink, with a good few stops along the way rather than long days of driving.
