About this trip
This six-day route combines the classic Golden Triangle with a tiger safari, taking you from the old and new sides of Delhi through Agra and Jaipur before finishing in Ranthambore National Park.
You'll take in Mughal and Rajput history along the way — the Taj Mahal at Agra and the hilltop Amber Fort near Jaipur — before switching pace for open-jeep game drives in search of tigers and other wildlife.
It suits you if you want history and wildlife in one go rather than choosing between a heritage tour and a safari.
What you'll do
- Explore both Old and New Delhi
- See the Taj Mahal at Agra
- Visit Amber Fort above Jaipur, the pink city
- Tiger safari by jeep in Ranthambore National Park
- Ranthambore National Park is closed every year from 1 July to 30 September for the monsoon, reopening 1 October — worth checking dates before booking
- Covers three cities plus a national park in six days, so expect a fair amount of road travel between stops
