About this trip
Six days in Chiapas tracing Mayan history and the region's landscapes, from ancient ruins to lakes and waterfalls. This is a guided trip built around archaeology and nature in roughly equal measure.
You'll get into the ruins at Palenque, Bonampak and Yaxchilan, then shift pace with a boat ride through Sumidero Canyon and time in San Cristobal de las Casas, including the villages of San Juan Chamula and Zinacantan. It rounds off with the Montebello Lakes and a swim at Chiflón waterfall.
A good fit if you want a mix of history and outdoors without having to plan the logistics yourself.
