Lisbon, Oporto & Fatima

Six days moving through Portugal's north, from Lisbon down through pilgrimage sites to Coimbra, Aveiro and Oporto. The route centres on Fátima, with the candle-lit procession at the Marian Shrine as the emotional high point, alongside some of the country's oldest architecture and academic history.

This is a slower, easy-paced trip built around a small group and partial guiding, so there's room to wander on your own as well as follow along with a guide at the key sites. It suits families and anyone drawn to the religious and historical side of Portugal rather than a beach-and-bar itinerary.
