About this trip
Six days in Uganda built around two big wildlife draws: gorilla tracking in Bwindi and a safari in Murchison Falls National Park. It's run as a private, fully guided tour, so it's just you (or your group) and your guide throughout.
You start and finish in Entebbe, with a night in Kampala on the way back from Bwindi to break up the driving. Along the way you're looking for the African Big Five, plus giraffes, bushbucks and primates including gorillas, chimpanzees and baboons.
What you'll do
- Track mountain gorillas in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
- Game drive through Murchison Falls National Park in search of the Big Five
- Spot giraffes, bushbucks and other plains game
- Look out for chimpanzees, baboons and other primates
- Overnight stop in Kampala between Bwindi and Murchison Falls
- Private tour — it's just your group and a dedicated guide
- Moderate pace with a fair amount of driving between parks
- Gorilla tracking involves walking in forest terrain, so a reasonable level of fitness helps
