About this trip
Four days in Rwanda built around gorilla trekking, with the history and culture around it given proper time rather than rushed. This is a private trip, so it's just you (and whoever you're travelling with) and your guide throughout.
The centrepiece is a trek into Volcanoes National Park to see mountain gorillas in the wild, paired with a harder hike up to Dian Fossey's grave for those who want the full story of the conservation work here. Kigali features too, with the Genocide Memorial and a city tour giving context most gorilla-only trips skip.
It's a moderate trip pace-wise but the hikes themselves demand a reasonable level of fitness, particularly the walk to the Fossey grave site.
