About this trip
Seven days in Rwanda built around its three big wildlife draws: mountain gorillas, golden monkeys and chimpanzees. This is a private tour, so it's just you (or your group) and your guide setting the pace throughout.
You'll spend time in Volcanoes National Park tracking gorillas and golden monkeys through the forest, then head to Nyungwe Forest for chimp tracking and a canopy walk above the treeline. A boat ride on Lake Kivu offers a slower, scenic break between the trekking days.
There's also a visit to the Ellen DeGeneres Campus, tied to gorilla conservation work in the region.
