About this trip
Ten days across Uganda and into Rwanda, built around two very different wildlife encounters: gorillas in the forest and big game on the savannah. This is a private, fully guided trip, so the pace and stops are yours rather than shared with a fixed group.
You'll spend time in Uganda's major parks tracking rhinos on foot, taking game drives through Murchison Falls and Queen Elizabeth, and cruising the Nile and Kazinga Channel where the wildlife comes to the water. The heart of the trip is a trek to see mountain gorillas, plus a separate outing to find chimpanzees.
The route also crosses into Rwanda for a visit to the Kigali Genocide Memorial, adding a heavier, reflective day to a trip otherwise focused on wildlife and landscape. Expect long road transfers linking the parks and some genuine time with local communities along the way.
