About this trip
Ten days through Uganda's national parks, built around three signature wildlife encounters: gorillas, chimps and the big cats. It's run as a private trip, so it's just you (and whoever you're travelling with) and your guide, not a fixed group.
You move between forest and savannah — tracking gorillas in Bwindi, chimps in Kibale, then out to Queen Elizabeth and Murchison Falls for open-plains game drives and boat rides. There's cultural time built in too, with the Batwa community at Mgahinga.
Expect a lot of ground covered and a proper mix of terrain — dense forest hikes, water, and classic savannah safari — over the ten days.

- Covers several parks in ten days, so expect regular travel days between them
Worth it if you want gorilla and chimp treks with genuinely excellent guides. Think twice if you need flexibility—the itinerary moves fast and early starts are non-negotiable.
- Guides (Jasper, Tom, Emma) consistently praised for knowledge, driving skill, and genuine care for travellers' comfort and safety.
- Lodges across all price points deliver clean, comfortable rooms with excellent views; mid-range package exceeded expectations substantially.
- Aggressive game drive schedule kept rigidly on time; early starts and tight daily itineraries will exhaust slower travellers.
- Owner Nicholas and team handle last-minute requests and changes promptly; communication and bespoke planning are genuinely responsive.
